Brooklyn Bridge, United States
This bridge connecting Manhattan with Brooklyn has been standing since 1883 as one of New York’s most iconic bridges. Taking a walk or cycling across the bridge is a must!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Si-o-se Pol, Iran
Featuring 33 arches, this bridge is a masterwork of the Safavid architecture with a length of 295 meters. Commissioned by I. Shah Abbas in 1602, it was built with the use of bricks and stones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chengyang Bridge, China
Found in the Dong region in China, this bridge has been standing since 1916. Otherwise known as the Wind and Rain Bridge, it arches over the Linxi-river. The bridge was built with the use of wood and stone without the use of rivets or screws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sydney Harbour Bridge, Australia
Sydney Harbour Bridge is the largest bridge in the world with an arch-based design. It stands at 134 meters high above the harbour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Victoria Falls Bridge, Zambia\/Zimbabwe
Located over a deep fall besides the Victoria Falls, this bridge connects two cities between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Water splashes all the way up from the falls to the bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
