Our online trainings are held on a digital platform agreed with the participant(s).
Our classroom trainings take place in the center of Budapes at our language school.

Course start: continuously throughout the year
We start our French group language courses throughout the year depending on the number of applicants.
Our individual French courses start within one week of registration.

Individual and small group courses
Our French language courses take place within the framework of individual and small group courses (groups of 2 and 3-4 participants).

Number of  lessons
The number of lessons for an French language course module is 24 lessons (24 x 45 minutes) for a group course.

In the case of an individual French course, the total number of lessons is flexible, it will be determined according to the request of the participant.

Course schedule
The course schedule for the French language courses is always tailored to the needs of the participant(s). This applies to both our individual and small group courses.

Levels: from beginner to Advanced (C1)
We offer French language courses from beginner to advanced at the following levels:
A1, A2, A2+, B1, B1+, B2, B2+, C1, C1+

Preliminary assessment test
For non-beginners, French language courses are preceded by a test to assess the current language knowledge of the participant.

Professional and special French courses
Among our French language courses, we also offer professional language and special French courses, including:

  • French language exam preparation course

International groups and individual courses for language learners from all around the world
Our French language courses are regularly attended by international students.
In this case, the language of instruction will be chosen in agreement with the participant(s), for example, the lesson may be taught in Spanish, German, etc.

Upon request we also offer the possibility that the language of instruction during the language courses are in the target language (French).

Corporate French courses
We also organize French language training within the framework of corporate language courses.

TCF Language Test Preparation

At our language school, we prepare students for TCF language tests as well, helping you build the skills and confidence needed to achieve the results required for your studies, career, or other goals.

 TCF language tests

The Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF) is the official French language proficiency test developed by France Éducation International and recognised by French and international institutions. It is designed for anyone over the age of 16 whose native language is not French and who needs their French skills assessed for academic, professional, or personal purposes.

Different versions of the TCF are tailored to specific goals, such as studying in France, immigrating to Canada, or applying for French nationality.

TCF for all audiences

This version of the test measures general French proficiency. It is widely accepted by:

  • The French Ministry of Higher Education,
  • The Ministry of Culture,
  • Immigration and integration authorities in France and Québec,
  • Universities, training centres, and employers.

Structure:

  • Compulsory multiple-choice tests: listening, language structures, and reading (approx. 90 questions).
  • Optional tests: written and spoken expression, depending on the candidate’s needs.

Duration: Between 1.5 and 2.5 hours depending on selected components.
Sessions: Available year-round at approved test centres.

TCF Canada

The TCF Canada is specifically required for those applying for economic immigration or citizenship in Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Since 2022, it is also recognised by Québec’s Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration (MIFI).

Structure (all compulsory):

  • Listening (39 questions – 35 min)
  • Reading (39 questions – 60 min)
  • Writing (3 exercises – 60 min)
  • Speaking (3 tasks – 12 min)

Duration: Around 2 hours 47 minutes.
Sessions: Offered throughout the year by accredited centres.


 

About French language and culture

Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville invented the earliest known sound recording device, the phonautograph and recorded the very first human voice recording which is a ten-second fragment of the French folk song ‘Au Clair de la Lune’ sung by a woman or a child.
