The shoreilne of the Adriatic Sea is 3 745 kilometers long, which is shared by 6 countries: Croatia, Italy, Albania, Montenegro, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Croatia gets the largest slice with its 1 778 kilometers long shoreline.
The shores of Croatia are characterized by several islands, out of which approx. 1200 belong to Croatia. Among the biggest and most popular are Cres and Krk, with lands of hundreds of square kilometers, but some are so tiny that only one person could fit! 🏝
