World Philosophy Day

World Philosophy Day was introduced on 21 November 2002 by UNESCO. Since then, it is celebrated every year on the third Thursday of November.

“The event underlines the enduring value of philosophy for the development of human thought, for each culture and for each individual. “

Many great philosophers from all around the globe have shaped our way of thinking throughout the centuries. The world wouldn’t be the same without the famous Greek Socrates, Plato or Aristotle, the French Descartes, the Chinese Confucius, the German Immanuel Kant and many others.
